Zinc

Zinc — Product Overview

Zinc is a versatile base metal supplied by ARASCO Conster Action Limited to customers across galvanizing, die-casting, alloy production, and chemical manufacturing industries.

What is Zinc?

Zinc (chemical symbol Zn) is a bluish-white, lustrous metal mined primarily from sphalerite (ZnS) ore. Raw zinc ore is concentrated through froth flotation, then processed through smelting or electrolytic refining to produce high-purity zinc ingots. Zinc has a relatively low melting point (around 420°C), a density of 7.13 g/cm³, and offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it the primary metal used to galvanize steel and iron against rust.
